What is CPCT?
The full name of CPCT is – “Computer Proficiency Certification Test”. This exam is conducted by the Government of Madhya Pradesh and its main objective is for the students who want to get a government job in the post of Computer Operator or Office Assistant in Madhya Pradesh. Computer related knowledge and knowledge of Hindi and English computer typing is also important in this exam.
CPCT is organized by Madhya Pradesh Agency for Promotion of Information Technology (MAP-IT). On passing this exam, students get CPCT certificate, which is valid for 2 years. CPCT exam is conducted twice a year and consists of objective type questions as well as Hindi and English computer typing test. After clearing this exam, it becomes easy to get a job in the government sector. The total duration of the exam is 120 minutes.

CPCT Eligibility Criteria

How to apply in CPCT
To apply in CPCT, you need to follow the online registration process. For this, you have to fill the online registration form by visiting the official website. In the form you will have to provide information like your name, address, date of birth, education details, passport size photo, aadhar card number, signature etc. After registration, you will be sent your ID number on your email ID and mobile number, with the help of which you can login and make your payment and download the admit card and score card. Its registration fee is Rs.660/-, which you can pay online. The last date for registration and payment will be available on the official website of CPCT.
CPCT Exam – Exam Pattern
This exam is conducted in computer only. Which we also call online exam. This exam consists of two parts, the first part consists of objective type questions and the second part consists of typing test. In this, every candidate is required to pass in both the tests. In this exam, the test is available in both Hindi and English languages. Each candidate must obtain a minimum of 50% marks in the test in order to be considered as pass.
